Large-Group Engagement & Activation

Mobilizing people around what's next

Situation

Major transformations, conferences, leadership gatherings, and organizational milestones often ask a large group to absorb a change all at once. People hear the announcement, but they do not yet understand what it means for them, see themselves in it, or know what to do on Monday morning.

Our role

Designed and delivered a tailored large-group engagement built around the specific change and audience. Delivery mechanisms are matched to the moment: a keynote, an executive briefing, a facilitated leadership session, a town hall, a half-day activation, or follow-on workshops that carry the message into the work.

Result

People leave with a shared understanding of the change, a personal connection to why it matters, and concrete next actions. Leaders gain a common language and momentum to build on, rather than a one-off event that fades by the following week.

Project Funding & Investment Diligence

Bringing clarity to strategic investment decisions

Situation

A cohort of 24 Canadian companies, ranging from early-stage ventures to growth-stage organizations, was being considered for project funding and strategic investment opportunities.

The companies operated across energy, critical minerals, technology, ag-tech, ed-tech, and environmental technology. Each presented a different combination of project maturity, commercial potential, funding requirements, organizational readiness, and strategic fit.

Company and project leaders needed support communicating the value and readiness of their ventures. Strategic investment groups needed a clear and efficient way to assess the opportunities and determine which companies merited deeper engagement.

Our role

L3C worked across both sides of the investment conversation, providing structured advisory support and greater transparency for everyone involved.

For company and project leaders, this included strengthening project funding and investment positioning through pitch training, presentation coaching, feedback loops, professional development, opportunity alignment, and relationship facilitation.

For strategic investment groups, L3C conducted structured pre-diligence. We reviewed company information, project structures, applications, strategic value, organizational maturity, commercial context, leadership readiness, and funding requirements.

Our scope concluded at a defined handoff milestone to the strategic investment lead. Each handoff included a pre-diligence assessment and score, an opportunity package, key findings, recommended next steps, and relevant contacts. Any subsequent negotiation, transaction terms, or investment agreement remained outside L3C’s scope.

L3C provides project diligence, investor readiness, organizational maturity, and process facilitation advisory. We do not provide investment brokerage or financial advice.

Result

Within four months, several company leaders received clearer direction on their positioning, funding readiness, and investor-facing narratives.

Strategic investment groups received structured findings that helped them identify which companies aligned with their priorities and which conversations warranted continued exploration. The process focused attention on the strongest potential fits and created a more informed foundation for continued diligence.

Following one handoff, a company received an expression of investment interest valued at USD $50 million. Any subsequent terms, negotiations, or transaction activities remained outside L3C’s engagement scope.

Leadership Alignment & Execution

Leadership alignment under pressure

Situation

A privately held national organization serving approximately 15,000 users was managing multiple critical initiatives without clear enterprise prioritization. Leaders were operating in constant triage, employees were carrying unsustainable workloads, and major projects were competing for the same people and attention.

Our role

Began with separate employee and leadership listening sessions, then helped the leadership team map its major initiatives, clarify what was genuinely critical, restructure workloads, and improve cross-functional ownership. We also established a practical bridge operating model for several business-critical projects, providing temporary program coordination while internal capability strengthened.

Result

Within 90 days, a critical software initiative had been recalibrated onto a structured path, leadership priorities and resource allocation were clearer, unsustainable workloads were being redistributed, teams were working more cross-functionally, and key talent was retained through better role alignment. The work also produced the foundation for a two-year operating plan.
